Removing MainTree uScript Toolkit 2

MainTree Systems and Macrovision have discovered a issue with the version of the InstallShield install system that was used with the MainTree uScript Toolkit 2.

Using then Add or Remove Programs control panel to remove the toolkit can result in corruption of your system registry.  Please follow the directions below to safely remove the toolkit from your system.

Step 1:
Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility from Microsoft.

Step 2:
Run the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility, then select MainTree uScript Toolkit from the list, then click remove.  This will remove it from the Add or Remove Programs control panel.

Step 3:
Download and run the RemoveMUT2.reg file.

Step 4:
Go to the directory where you installed the toolkit, usually C:\Program Files\MainTree Systems\uScript Toolkit, then delete all the files in that directory.

Step 5:
Delete the MainTree uScript Toolkit folder from the Start menu.

Step 6:
Reboot your computer.
